Compatibility mode tab on Windows 2000

If you want to enable the Compatibility mode tab on programs in Windows 2000, just like you have on Windows XP/Server 2003, then follow the instructions below.

1. Go to Start > Run…
2. Type cmd.exe in the box and press ENTER on the keyboard.
3. Type regsvr32 %windir%\apppatch\slayerui.dll in the black window that opens.
4. Press ENTER and click OK on the dialogue box that follows.

To remove the Compatibility tab:

1. Go to Start > Run…
2. Type cmd.exe in the box and press ENTER on the keyboard.
3. Type regsvr32 /u %windir%\apppatch\slayerui.dll in the black window that opens.
4. Press ENTER and click OK on the dialogue box that follows.
